UNPLUGGED IN THE PARK HOTEL - 8 Mar 07
Spring has returned to warm the fair shores of Wivenhoe, and look what's washed
up in the flotsam and jetsam at the Park Hotel. Amongst the barrels of bootleg
rum and cigarettes were the area's finest songsmiths, strummers and singers.
The main act for the evening was Unplugged regulars Done Well. Their combination
of covers and original material went down a storm and had everyone singing along
by the end of the night. With plenty of time to play Done Well could relax into
their songs and bring the best out of them. Andy's rich voice and Dom's blues
playing at last had a chance to shine, bringing demands for more when they finished
their set.
Another night of music, poetry and collaboration enjoyed by all.
The closest band to the Park Hotel, Rak were so good we've booked them.

Jimmy rocked us with some White Stripes and Pink Floyd.

Matt played some cracking tunes.

Miranda and Nick got together for a number.

Gary, on the promise of fairies, turned up to play with Dave.

Done Well, with Andy and Dom, played a mix of covers
and original tunes.

Dom's solo blues was impressive.

Andy's peace song is a modern classic, accompanied
by lighters in the air.

The glamorous backing singers!
