UNPLUGGED IN THE PARK HOTEL - 26 July 07

This was to be the last Unplugged night for a while so we had to go out with a bang. Bang suppliers for the evening were the awesome Thud and Blunder, who we've long been trying to book but schedules have not collided.

Playing a set of songs on guitars and mandolins, with covers as wide ranging as 80s classics to the Can Can, they got everyone in the party mood. Nel and Keith have worked together as a duo for many moons and they really looked like they were still enjoying what they do.

And as if that didn't justify the entrance fee (its free to get in...) then the performance of the Klezmatics must have. A collaboration of some of the area's finest musicians including CJ (guitar, vocals and trumpet), Teresa (accordian), Ophelia (violin), Sally (percussion) and Nel (mandolin and guitar) their Balkan stylings are taking the UK by storm.
